ReplyDeleteHello, I am the author of The Sisters Who Would be Queen;Mary, Katherine & Lady Jane Grey; A Tudor Tragedy. I am enjoying your Mary Tudor site. Would you like a guest article on Jane and Mary? One that helps explain why Mary executed her 16 yr old cousin? best wishes, Leanda de Lisle
ReplyDeleteLeanda - I'm really sorry for replying late to your message; I have just discovered it. I would love it if you could do a guest post! Mary's relationship with Jane is a fascinating topic. Mary’s decision to execute Jane has often been regarded as one of the most unpleasant acts of her reign. Alternatively some have attempted to almost diminish Mary’s responsibility in Jane’s death. A post on this would be great!
